AJSSR practices a full double blind peer review process, typically by 2 or 3 reviewers. The identities of the author and reviewers are concealed from each other although the reviewers may opt, at their own discretion, to reveal their name. Any material submitted to be considered for publication will be automatically assumed as not to have been published before or being considered for publication in any other venue at the time of submission to AJSSR.
Members of the Editorial Board are allowed to submit their own manuscripts for to the journal. The peer review process then will be managed by the Editor-in-Chief or an alternative members of the Board such that the author will have no involvement in the decision-making process.
Reviewers for AJSSR are carefully selected based on their expertise and scientific contribution in their field of expertise. To avoid potential biased opinion, 2 to 3 reviewers are selected and whenever needed, are from different school of thought. Prior to the peer-review process, each manuscript will be viewed by an editor.
Individuals who have made a substantive contribution to the article should be listed as authors. Principal authorship and the order of authorship should be based on the relative contributions of the individuals involved, regardless of their respective status. A student is usually listed as principal author on any multiple-authored publication that substantially derives from the student’s dissertation or thesis.
Authors are expected to consider the list of authors prior to the manuscript submission. All authors must provide a signed consent to be an author in the manuscript.
